​Jen Harmatz is a compassionate and skilled licensed acupuncturist with a Master’s degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine (MTOM) from Emperor’s College, where she graduated summa cum laude with a concentration in Korean acupuncture. Her training includes a wide spectrum of modalities such as Chinese herbal medicine, cupping, Gua Sha, Tui Na, electrical stimulation, and red light therapy. By thoughtfully combining these tools, Jen creates personalized treatments to support internal medicine, orthopedic concerns, emotional well-being, and overall vitality. She has a special interest in women’s health, fertility, and facial rejuvenation through Cosmetic Acupuncture.
Jen was first drawn to East Asian medicine through her own personal health experiences. After finding limited relief with conventional care, she discovered how effective acupuncture and herbal medicine could be in addressing complex issues. Inspired by these results, she shifted paths from a thriving 18-year career in the beauty industry to pursue a more integrative, patient-centered approach to healing.
Prior to becoming an acupuncturist, Jen held roles in the prestige beauty world—from distinguished makeup artist to Global Director of Education and Training for an international skin device brand. Her extensive experience with skin health and aesthetics naturally complements her Cosmetic Acupuncture practice today. Having worked behind the scenes at events like Fashion Week, the Grammys, and Broadway Cares, she understands that beauty isn’t just surface-level—it’s rooted in internal balance and radiant health.
Jen’s Cosmetic Acupuncture approach, enhanced by specialized training with renowned expert Michelle Gellis, blends traditional wisdom with modern skin science. Rather than simply masking signs of aging, her treatments aim to activate the body’s natural ability to repair, regenerate, and glow from within.
